While engaged in threshing wheat on the Haddox Farm, near Flint Hill, Rappahannock county, fire, originating from the engine, burned the threshing machine and about 800 bushels of wheat, on Tuesday last. (Richmond Dispatch :10, Reported 4 Aug 1901)

-FRONT ROYAL, VA., September 4.--(Special.)--To-day was the first day of the ninth annual Horse and Colt Show held at this place. The crowd in attendance was not large, owing to threatening weather in the morning, but the entries were full and the quality of the exhibits was excellent.

Warren Abiff Haddox, son of Dorothy & Clinton Bolivar Haddox, was baptised in Flint Hill on 24 October 1922, by Rev. Frank Cox. He was born on 10/15/1855. He died on 25 October 1922 at the abe of 67 years, 10 days. (Haddox Family Bible*)
I, W.A. Haddox, being of sound mind and memory, do make this my last will and testament, in words anf figures to-wit:
1st. I devise and bequeath, to my sister, Kate Sotheron, my entire estate of which I may, die, seized and possessed, to do with as she may elect.
2nd. I appoint and constitute, my said sister, Kate Sotheron, the executrix of this my last will and testament, and respectfully request, that she be permitted to qualify without security.

Smith (born in Fauquier Co., VA), died on 25 October 1922 at 2:30 P.M. in Wakefield Dist., Rappahannock Co., VA. Informant was Warren Haddox Sothoron of Flint Hill, VA.
- Cause of death was "Diabetes. When I saw him he was in diabetic coma." Contributory was a Carbuncle. of 8 days' duration. Diagnosis was confirmed with examination of urine. Certified by E.R. Browning, M.D. of Flint Hill, VA.
- Arrangements were by Maddox Ramsey of Front Royal, VA. Burial was on 27 Oct 1922 in Haddox B. Grd.
